1:1 Community Based Support

Overview

Our 1:1 Community Support aims to improve the confidence and self-esteem of a person with a disability in the community. We work with individuals to help them:

  • understand and learn about independence, safety awareness and general life skills
  • feel empowered and valued in the community.

  • Attempting or participating in group recreational activities that may be unfamiliar.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships and socialising with peers and community members.
  • Connecting with, and accessing, the local community.
